Bikes, Not Bombs
It would appear that the city of Lexington is finally getting its act together and striving to become a bike and pedestrian friendly town. Well, sort of. After repaving most major streets in the downtown area, the city failed to add bike lanes in most high-traffic areas.
Now, the Lexington Fayette Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is currently planning to make some significant changes. They’ve released a 223-page plan, available to the public, and they invite public response and critique.
